All new Support Workers at GNG Care Services will be required to pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check. This screening is an assessment to determine if a person poses a risk to people with disabilities. The assessment will either clear or exclude individuals from working in certain roles with people with disabilities.
Employees at GNG Care Services are required to complete several online NDIS Training modules. The time required for completion may vary from 20 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the module.
Employees are also required to complete a COVID-19 Infection Control Training course. This course covers the fundamentals of infection prevention and control for COVID-19 and typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.
This series of eight learning modules provides new workers with essential information needed to start working in the disability sector. These modules have been developed to support providers in inducting new staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those who may not be familiar with the disability sector.
